It's a great place and a joy to work for great staff and can't wait to get a camping experience
This place is awesome. The people who run it are great. The campsites are a bit too close together, but being on the river makes up for it.
Awesome super friendly down-to-earth
This campground is a true hidden gem. It is in the perfect location for accessing all the local attractions. The sites are great size, and the shelters were perfect for setting up camp. We loved being right on the river and had quick and easy access to the river for fishing , floating down the river and letting the little ones splash around in the water. The grounds were very clean, the bathrooms and showers were always clean. Melissa is an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. She offered entertainment options for the kids and even sent us home with homemade sausage and biscuits for the road trip! We will definitely be back.
The campground is great. Melissa, family, and friends we most helpful at both the campground as well as what to do in the area. On Saturday, they had a potluck in the pavilion and offered many family games and activities. We were primitive camping with amenities very near, i.e. bathrooms and a shower. Wood and ice was for sale at the campground and the owners are on site 24 hours. We would definitely return.
